Oh, Impresario! O Salon Meister! Imagine recreating in Reidsville, in miniature, a haven for philosophes! You are the Gertrude Stein of the boonies, recreating 1920's Parisian artist's gatherings in Tuna Fish's neighborhood! Mini-Mystery Schools of the Carolinas!

It was a great Renaissance Weekend! (Remember Bill and Hillary's Renaissance Weekends? That's how they met Jean.)

Once again, maxima gratia!

So begins one of Joe Wrobel's emails praising me at the inception of this project, just following a marathon recording session where he drove up from South Carolina to meet with MaryAnn Bennett Roseberg flying down from Chicago and create the spoken-word performances of their poems at my North Carolina home. This website serves as a showcase for that work as well as the work of many other artist's in many different media. Many of us share a connection to the New York Mystery School, began by Dr. Jean Houston. (I created the Mystery School website, you can see it here).

This philosophical/spiritual learning community served not only as the forum wherein we came to meet one another, but often as an amplified arena to share our gifts and hone our skills. Jean, heartfully assisted by Peggy Rubin, are sometimes described as "evocateurs of the possible" and often participants are "called out" to rise to a given occasion and produce some greatly inspired art right on the spot. The results are often nothing short of miraculous and people do exhibit a kind of greatness when they give themselves into the powerful embrace of the Muse.

I trust this finds you well and that your own muse alights with gentle wings to bestow upon you buckets of inspiration. Take a look around, there's plenty to enjoy. Our collection is always growing and changing, so check back from time to time and see what's new.
